Jin Shin Do: Jin Shin Do means “The Way of the Compassionate Spirit”. Jin Shin Do Bodymind Acupressure uses gentle yet deep finger pressure on specific acu–points and verbal Body Focusing Techniques to help release the armoring or chronic tension and balance the Qi or energy. This clothes on method helps relieve stress and trauma related problems. Originated by psychotherapist Iona Teagarden, JSD promotes a pleasant trance–like state, in which one can relax and move out of the head and into the body, accessing feelings and inner wisdom. Sessions are 90+ minutes in length.

Therapeutic Stone Massage: Therapeutic Stone Massage includes warm river stones. This massage focuses on a specific problem area or several in the body. I use deep pressure on muscles and work out knots, release toxins, stretch the fascia when and where needed. The muscles are then rubbed with warm river stones to loosen and send stress away. I recommend this massage for people who need their kinks worked out.

Sports Massage: Sports massage therapy focuses on muscle groups relevant to a particular sport. Anyone from a casual weekend golfer to a dedicated marathon runner can benefit from this type of therapy. The techniques vary due to pre or post event.

Rossiter Method: The Rossiter Method is an extremely deep stretch of the body's connective tissue. The Practitioner uses their foot to compress the muscle while the client moves the muscle through a range of motion. This is the deepest work I do. While this technique is at time painful, the benefits are tremendous.

Pregnancy Massage: The Mother to Be experiences many changes in her body throughout her pregnancy. Headaches, backaches, edema and fatigue are common complaints. I use a Prego Pillow during the massage to help support the body. A back massage is a must for all Moms!

Swedish Massage: Swedish Massage therapy involves movement of lymph from your body. A lighter touch with all strokes towards the heart. This type of massage creates a sense of well being. It is a great way to relax.
